Emuhaya teachers pick their eyes and ears in Sacco

Teachers who are members of Kakamega Teachers Co-operative Society in Luanda and Emuhaya subcounties of Vihiga county elected delegates to represent them in the Sacco.
During the elections held at Wemilabi Primary School and presided over by a labour officer, Kenneth Kuloba and witnessed by Kateco vice chairman Dickson Okutoyi, 10 delegates were elected to represent Luanda subcounty in the Sacco.
Ten other delegates were elected to represent Emuhaya subcounty while Peter Okwemba was voted into office as a representative of postprimary institutions members. Rasto Olocho retained his position as a representative of members from the neighbouring Kisumu subcounty.
Francis Musieka, a director of Co-operative Alliance of Kenya representing western region and Nelson Nyonje, chairman of Kateco welfare committee in Emuhaya subcounty, were among delegates who also retained their positions in the elections.
Emuhaya Knut secretary Dan Andafu, chairman David Tianyi, treasurer Clement Opole and women representative Rose Mwangu also attended the occasion.
