Baringo, Kenya: Embattled Baringo
Speaker William Kapket has been reinstated by the Employment and Labour
Relations court in Nakuru after he was ousted through a public petition on
Wednesday. Justice Stephen Radido issued stays orders against his removal
pending hearing of a judicial review challenging his purported ouster through a
petition filed by residents of Arabal in Baringo South. Radido also issued
orders barring the County assembly clerk from advertising and processing
applications to fill the position of the speaker.
