Governor William Kabogo yesterday offered Sh100,000 reward to anyone
with information that could lead to the whereabouts of missing Juja Ward
MCA Samuel Gitau. He said a team comprising security officers and the
National Youth Service are already searching for the MCA.
“We are doing everything possible to ensure we find Gitau. I am appealing to the public to provide any information that may help in finding this young leader,” he said.
As police intensified the search which entered the third day, MCAs and residents also spent the better part of the day in a nearby coffee plantation after word went round that a body believed to be that of the MCA had been found.
Gitau popularly known as ‘Kitata’ went missing on Saturday evening moments after he went to withdraw cash from an ATM at Juja centre at around 8.30pm.
