Kigumo MP Kamau eyes Wa Iria’s office

Development agenda and service delivery potential of Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau is underutilised, Knut official and MCA from Murang’a county have said. Speaking in Kigumo, Murang’a South Knut executive secretary Amos Murigi and Kigumo ward MCA Carol Njoroge who were addressing teachers on how to improve education standards in the area, said Kamau had demonstrated that he is development conscious and a servant of the people.
Candidly Murigi told Kamau to go for a bigger seat in 2017. Murigi’s proposal was echoed by Njoroge. Although Kamau has yet to publicly announce he will vie for the Murang’a gubernatorial slot  held by Mwangi Wa Iria, Kamau and his troops have started lying ground for a bruising battle for the seat come general elections.
Murigi said due to Kamau’s leadership education standards had greatly improve leading to Kigumo emerging the best in the county’s subcounties. Murigi said that Kamau had ensured that education was devoid of politics.
Njoroge said Kamau had improved infrastructure in the education sector, motivated teachers, parents, pupils/students and disbursed bursary to the needy. “In a show of hands, teachers present said they would support Kamau for a bigger seat,” Kamau who was present did not comment about the proposal insisting he was pre-occupied with development matter.
