Operation Linda Yatta to counter dirty tricks

Youth in Yatta have launched Linda Yatta Operation and warned former area MP Charles Kilonzo to stop applying dirty tricks to bring down MP Francis Mwangangi.
Kilonzo is according Linda Yatta Operation using makeshift organisations namely Yatta Youth Network, Yatta Residents Association, Yatta Professionals Network, Okoa Yatta, Paul Matheka Foundation which he is financing heavily through one Richard Mulwa to write letters to Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Public Procurement and Oversight Authority, Directorate of Criminal Investigation, National Police Service and media houses claiming there is corruption in Yatta CDF. Every three months since 2013 elections, there has to be some officers from either of the above agencies going to Yatta which have always come out with nothing. Mulwa has also created several accounts in the social media to advance Kilonzo’s political agenda of fighting Mwangangi.
Kilonzo has identified candidates who will run for the MP’s seat but along the way, drop out to support him. The most visible being Christopher Mutie of Matuu and Paul Muturi Matheka, to confuse people by claiming they will run for MP and Kilonzo for governor. Matheka used to do over 70pc of CDF projects in Kilonzo’s tenure and after the last elections used his company together with then Machakos county senior water officials Francis Maliti, Lemmy Nzuma and David Kitavi  allegedly swindled Sh15 million set for rehabilitation of Yatta canal. The Sh15m  caused a rift in the group after Matheka allegedly used the funds from CDF and that from county meant for the canal to construct a petrol station known as Plateau Fuels at Kithimani. It is claimed the petrol station has been buying siphoned fuel from Machakos county vehicles including the famous tractors.
