SONKO PAYS SH100,000 FINE FOR THE 100 YRS OLD GRANNY

It was joy and jubilation in Embu prison compound when Nairobi Senator’s Sonko Rescue Team arrived and bailed out the 100 years granny Margret Ngima who has been held at the Embu GK Prison for the past nine days.
The granny Ms Ngima had already started to serve the 3 months jail term slapped on her by high court for contempt of court.
Ms Ngima was jailed for three months for failing to attend court proceedings and was counting on her sons, who eke a living doing menial work, to raise Sh100,000 for bail.

He said the senator paid the shs 100,000 fine to get the release of the old woman out.
