Sarah O’Neill is not your average English teacher. Last January, the
35 year-old had been employed at the elite boarding school Church Farm
School in Pennsylvania for seven years, and she was beloved by students
and parents alike.
Unfortunately for her, her world came crashing down in the Fall when she was caught having an affair with her 16 year-old student.
It all started in January of 2014, when she began dating the boy. They first kissed in a Motel 6 in February, and once again in March on the boy’s birthday.
The boy, who is now 17, claims that the duo had oral sex many times at motels, parks, and even in O’Neill’s car.
The school custodian later told officials she caught O’Neill and the boy in a classroom with the lights off three times. The first time she caught them, it appeared that O’Neill’s stocking was ripped. Another time, the teacher swore to the janitor that she was just helping the boy with extra credit.
Throughout their ten month affair, the teacher and her student exchanged 509 calls and 319 text messages. In one of these exchanges, the boy asked O’Neill what she was wearing.
“I should be wearing sexy clothing for you when you ask that. Like some tight underwear or nothing. But I am too formal for such outlandishness,” she replied.
O’Neill was finally caught at the end of the Fall term of 2014, when she accidentally left a love letter to the boy on an office printer.
O’Neill has since been arrested and charged with four counts of corruption of minors. She is currently out on bond, and is due back in court on February 2.

“The thought that I could love so deeply
and so wrongly pervaded before you and I even officially began,” O’Neill
wrote in the letter. “It was quite a long winter break before my lips
even attempted yours and I wondered if you were as affected as I.”
The letter was found by another teacher at the school, and an investigation was immediately launched.
O’Neill has since been arrested and charged with four counts of corruption of minors. She is currently out on bond, and is due back in court on February 2.
