Webuye businessman denies dabbling in politics

After testing the murky waters, a Webuye prominent businessman has denounced claims that he has political ambitions to unseat Webuye MP Dan Wanyama in the next general elections. Ken Wafula of Lentons chain of chemists and an employee of Nzoia Sugar Company said that he has not declared to run for a political seat and that his kindness had been mistaken for political ambitions. However it is said Wafula’s move to keep off politics was after it emerged that he was unpopular among voters, sly and his social life moreso nocturnal side were questionable. He is said to be using his charitable functions to mint money from Nzoia Sugar where he fixed former managers to be sacked on flimsy grounds.
He has been using Nzoia Sugar Company resources in his movements with his wealthy and that of his family under scrutiny.
Recently, Wafula in company of his family donated 10,000 packets of sanitary towels to the girls and said that a wide range of cultural taboos and social stigma around menstruation impact negatively on the lives of women and girls around the world.
