Heavy
gunfire has been reported inside Garissa University College after an attack by
unknown gunmen.
The
gunmen are said to have attacked the institution around 5.30am Thursday.
Kenya
Red Cross officials say two policemen and a student have been injured by the
attackers and have been rushed to hospital.

Defence Forces have arrived at the university.
There
is heavy police presence around the institution and several ambulances are on
standby.
