HEADS ROLL IN SIAYA AS RASANGA CRACKS THE WHIP

Three Siaya county executive committee members and chief of staff in the office of the governor have been fired indefinitely.
Bernard Arum who was in trade, Francis Ngesa roads, Christine Oyuu water and Alloyce Obare who was the chief of staff have been directed  to stay at home due to what is said to be incompetence.
The three CECs were once warned by Governor Cornel Rasanga to render improved services to the people in one of the Okoa Kenya campaign rallies in Siaya town.
The governor said that he had been informed that some of his ministers were using their official vehicles to do their own activities while some had been seen with the vehicles in bars and restaurants hence tarnishing the name of the county government.
In a letter dated October 21 2014 signed by  Rasanga and copied to the deputy governor’s office and the county assembly of Siaya, the four were directed to surrender formally all the county government property, tools and equipment in their possession to the county secretary before they leave office  as of Friday last week. The sacked officers had collected their dismissal letters from the county secretary Kepher Marube.
The sacking came after the four failed to appear before the vetting committee led by the county speaker George Okode after they had been transferred to other dockets.
