A
woman allegedly defiled a class seven pupil and infected him with gonorrhea and
syphilis at Mukunike village in Kangundo subcounty, Machakos.
She
reportedly lured the 14-year-old boy into living with her for three weeks using
money.
Residents
stormed her house on Monday after he returned home limping.
His
parents took him to a hospital where tests revealed the infections.
“The
boy’s parents reported to me that their child was missing. They suspected that
he was in the woman’s house. She denied it when I asked her,” said area chief
Bethwel King’ele.
King'ele
urged residents to remain calm while investigations are carried out.
He
said the suspect is being held at Kangundo police station.
