Nairobi county head of public health in trouble

The director of public health in Nairobi county Lucy Musyoka   is a woman under siege. Already, a case is in court challenging her academic credentials, and if she is fit to hold the position is on-going.
Documentary evidence shows that she allegedly lied under professional oath on matters relating to her qualification and her papers do not meet the standards.
Her case is said to have even been forwarded to council of public health officers. Also said to be informed of the saga is the medical practitioners’ body that accredits doctors and dentists.
Due to her controversial academic papers, we have information that the public health officers working under her at Nairobi county are a disillusioned lot.
She is said to depend on unqualified persons to be in charge of crucial departments.
The outbreak of cholera and the failure of the public health department to undertake necessary steps to curb the situation before it broke out are blamed on her office.
To complicate matters for her is the discovery of revenue collected from bars, hotels and restaurants has drastically fallen since she took the sensitive office.
Questions are being raised as to whether her office is colluding with various hospitality institutions to deny the county revenue through dubious deals.
