TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo said the new outfit will test the waters next month during the Kajiado Central by-election.
“The candidate who will be unveiled will be unveiled through the Jubilee Alliance Party and not TNA of URP. This is a step towards ensuring that the two parties work together, and going forward it has always been the dream of the Jubilee Coalition to come up with one party indivisible and moving this country forward to the next step,” said Oloo.
United Republican Party Secretary General Fred Muteti also affirmed the union saying they were set to hold meetings with the other parties with which they have coalition agreements to consolidate a merger.

The party officials however stated that TNA and URP had not been dissolved and that all the provisions of the law had been followed in registering the new outfit, which they say will transform the political scene.
The new party whose offices are still under construction will be chaired by Nelson Dzuya who hails from the Coast region and will be deputized by David Murathe, a former Gatanga legislator.
Murage while formally unveiling the outfit said Kenyans would be awed by the conduct of the party taking a swipe at the Opposition for the shambolic, botched and unsuccessful nominations it has conducted the past month saying the Kajiado Central nominations would be the trendsetter.
“We are not going to have any partisan operation in Kajiado central; it will be conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission,” said Murathe.
Veronica Nduati , the party’s Secretary General announced the list of party officials and indicated that a comprehensive list would be made public.
“Jubilee Alliance Party is re-writing the political landscape in this nation. It is the party to watch in the future; the story of national cohesion will be re-written by the Jubilee Alliance Party,” she said.
Nduati will be assisted by Caleb Kositany and Fatuma Mohamud Mohammed. Alfred Kipkorir Mutai will be the Treasurer, while Westgate hero Abdul Haji takes the position of Organising Secretary with Pamela Mutua as his deputy.
According to a gazette notice, the party was registered on December 12 last year and members of the public were already registering to join it.
Members of the Jubilee Coalition and its constituent parties who wish to join the new outfit will be required to write a letter to the registrar of political parties notifying her of the decision to quit the specific party and join the Jubilee Alliance Party.
The news elicited mixed reactions with members allied to the United Republican Party reported to be reluctant in celebrating the union.
The party has since called a meeting for all its legislators next week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to stem the thorny issues that could emerge following the union.
