COUPLE ARRESTED FOR HAVING SEX AT A PUBLIC PARK

An Iowa couple were arrested and charged for having sex on a boardwalk in a Boca Raton, Florida, park, according to police.

Devin Thunhorst 26, and Nicole Rains, 26, were arrested at Lake Wyman Park, located after police received an anonymous call reporting that two individuals were on the boardwalk having sex in the open, the arrest report said.

The officers reported seeing Thunhorst and Rains in the act near a pavilion area. Thunhorst told police, "I thought this area would be OK to do this because a homeless guy told us that no one comes back here to check."

"We are both here just visiting from Iowa and I am homeless but I was supposed to get a job shrimping," he added in the report. "We were just having some fun here," Rains said. Thunhorst was charged with lewd/lascivious exhibition, exposure of sexual organs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked in the Palm Beach County Jail.
