KITUI GIRLS PREGNANT

Deputy Governor Peninna Malonza has decried rising cases of pregnancies among school-going girls in Kitui South sub-county.
She said five girls in Makele Primary School were put on the family way last year and all have since dropped out of school.
She blamed parents for the pregnancies saying they have abdicated their parental responsibilities.
“It is time we secured our daughters’ future by protecting them against perverts," said Malonza.
She was speaking to parents of Nzaalani Primary School in Ikanga/Kyatune ward in Kitui South on Saturday.
