RASANGA SACKS THREE MINISTERS AND CHIEF OF STAFF

Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga has sacked three executives and his chief of staff. Those sent packing are Bernard Arrum (Trade), Francis Ngesa (Roads), Christine Oyuu (Water) and chief of staff Alois Obare.

Arrum, Oyuu and Obare have collected their sacking letters from the county secretary Kepher Marube.

Their sacking comes months after Arrum and Ngesa swapped positions.
After the swap, the assembly summoned the two to be vetted afresh but they declined to appear before it.

During the Mashujaa Day celebrations on Monday, MCAs petitioned Rasanga to sack all nonperforming executives. Central Alego ward representative Leonard Oriaro said the governor should not spare any staff at the expense of service delivery to residents.
Efforts to reach director of communications in the Office of the Governor Bonny Odinga were futile.
