IS RAILA A BAD OMEN IN KENYA SOCCER?

Is it a fact or fiction that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is a bad omen in Kenya soccer?

Now a section of Kenya soccer fans are attributing last week’s devastating 1-1 draw by Harambee Stars against Lesotho to the fact that Raila Odinga was in attendance.

The claim that whenever Raila attends soccer games both local or international started way back after Gor Mahia fans claimed that whenever he graced any of their matches, there have never been good results.

The complainants claim that it’s just not a coincidence that all the matches that Raila has attended they've all been defeated, its because of this trend that they've labeled him a bad omen to Kenya soccer.

Both the Gor and Hramabee Stars fans are now appealing to Raila to keep off from attending Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia matches. "We undoubtedly love you baba but kindly keep off from soccer matches to allow our soccer teams have good results”, says an ardent soccer fan.

"Every time baba attends any match Gor is playing, we must lose, he is just bad luck to the team, let him keep off from attending the matches and watch from home with mama (Ida Odinga)", says a Gor fan.
