SASANGA TOLD TO FACTOR ecd IN PLANS

Siaya county teachers service commission director Daniel Cherutoi has called upon the Siaya governor Cornel Rasanga to take charge on the recruitment of early childhood teachers before the commission received funds from the treasury to carry out that duty.

Cherutoi said that despite the fact that they are having that mandate to recruit teachers, the treasury has not factored in funds for the ECDC teachers recruitment.

He added that the TSC has the legal framework for the employment of teachers, promotions and even demotion unlike the county government body.

 The county boss added that the county government will employ those teachers despite the fact that TSC, Knut and Kuppet hold contrary views on the move.

Rasanga called for a dialogue between the county government of Siaya and the TSC, Knut and Kuppet for them to harmonise the ongoing problem of ECD teachers recruitment.
